– Amen to that, sister.
Although I'm confused by this post. Not sure if it's patriotic or about becoming vegan. Regardless, yes, buy organic please!
And, cool flag! ;-)
Majority of humans are fucking idiots.

Awesome work ©.
Powerful image - really well done - it really stands out -
'Man, is a tame or civilized animal; never the less, he requires proper instruction and a fortunate nature, and then of all animals he becomes the most divine and most civilized; but if he be insufficiently or ill-educated he is the most savage of earthly creatures. - Plato - Laws Book 1
Damn. That's one awesome flag. Traditional or digital paint?

BAD ASS!!!! Now that's an artistic statement!
Hi ©,
This is a *random* comment, but...
being in NYC... have you heard of the "rubber room" for school teachers?
I'm a west coaster, so this seemed a bit totalitarian to me:

my god. WTF is this?? it's like serving Jury Duty in Twilight Zone! i mean, i've heard about an S&M/Vinyl Room underground/nite club years back, even had friends who visited for their own experience/curiosity (art related), but this is some FUCT-UP report I've heard/read about in NYCity! damn. so, i guess your answer is, NO, i never heard about the Rubber Room, but personally (after reading several articles on it), i think the story may be slightly magnified than it actually is. For instance, ever attended night classes? it's BORING AS HELL. but people aren't exactly dressed in Pig Skins or strapped in Strait-Jackets. but it's an IFFY feeLing.... (all much better "artistically" than reality, IMO). But having teachers run over in parking lots during lunch breaks? Hmm.. altho there's no confirmation on just how accurate these reports truly are [like a bad horror film /Teacher Chainsaw Massacre] – it's of no surprise, but damn, what a bunch of Freaks!
Well, Thanks so much for THIS report, jd!
– that teaching job I was considering in Spring, is gonna be placed on hold & be reconsidered now!! ;)

Hah! Yeah, I might be rethinking the teaching gig if I were you. Well anyway, I try to be sensative to sensationalism, but you know.. in a time where it seems like major govt. institutions are getting politicized (heck of a job Brownie!), the potential for a politicized DOE is there. I don't think we're in Commie China yet, but still having visions of how the state could use a system like this to keep teachers in line. I have to wonder about a system that puts punishment before trial... and what's with people being assigned to the rubber room without knowing why? Wierd man.
Anyway, looks like somebody's making a movie:

hey jd: i hear you. office/ schools/ politics alike is a tricky business. until we're all less selfishly involved & can honestly take actions, none of us can truly draw the line on that chalkboard (or even have the rights to criticize). i'm only surprised it's gotten This far, and not any teachers spoke out. or perhaps they had, but no one listened/did anything about it (as usual). However - gratefully, we are far from a Commie world, having a documentary made about rubber room proves it. i.e., apparently, we're not the only ones disturbed (among many things today). it's no perfect world, but the strive for one still exist...
thanks again for your note. :)
